Baminbo Ripple Blanket

Posted by Claire Turner on

I made this lovely Bambino baby blanket a little while ago - it is available to download from my website but I thought I would share it on my blog too! Here is the link if you would like to download the PDF version.

I used Stylecraft Bambino dk, it was my first time using this yarn and it is beautiful! It’s a soft and smooth anti pilling baby yarn which gives a really nice cotton like stitch definition. I wanted the  blanket to be gender neutral so I chose 7 pastel shades in heather, sage, vintage blue, grey mist, soft pink, little boy blue and white, the yarn can be purchased here.

I really enjoy the ripple stitch because it is a fairly easy repetitive stitch that is really relaxing and doesn’t need too much concentration! I decided to crochet 1 row of each colour and love how its turned out.
